Very low cost ($18), used 4.3" Touchscreen LCD

Here is the datasheet for the display. Note that company specific info has been redacted.

The "Like New" version of this display (with new touchscreen) will be featured in the upcoming PSB device.

These displays are pulled from units returned to the factory of a major device manufacturer. (The don't want me advertising their name or logo.) All units are tested for basic functionality before shipment, but they are in USED condition and are sold "AS IS".

SMT connector is 60-pin, 0.5-mm pitch FPC connector. I'm using Digikey part# 609-3439-1-ND. Here is the datasheet for the connector.

Connectors also for sale for $1 each.

A prototype breakout board has been successfully tested and will be available by the middle November. Another breakout board is for sale as indicated in this Parallax Propeller User Forum Thread. Note that my breakout board and drivers are for 6-bit color, the same as the Parallax VGA driver. In fact, the driver is just a modification of the VGA driver. However, a breakout board with all 24 color pins brought out is being sold by another forum member.

	The ExpressPCB schematic and PCB layout for the prototype breakout board have been posted to the forum thread linked to above. Note that an additional Vdd capacitor has been added to the final board for cases where long wires to the board may be used.

Ordering Info

Email your address (I need to know what country you live in) to ray@rayslogic.com and indicate the Qty. of used LCD units desired (up to 6).

Up to 6 units can fit in one USPS Priority Small Flat Rate box. But, if you get a breakout board, the maximum number is 5 LCDs.

Shipping cost is as follows:

	$5 for United States (typically 2-3 day delivery time).
	$11 for Canada/Mexico
	$13 for other countries (typically 6-10 day delivery time).
	Note that USPS provides some limited tracking and insurance for domestic (United States) shipments only.
	Note that the buyer assumes responsibility for any customs charges.

After I receive your email, I will email you back an invoice with payment instructions.

Once your payment has processed, I will test and ship your displays.
